Graham SmithGraham Smith has been experimenting with panoramic imaging since the early 80's long before the term virtual reality had been coined. Today his VR and telerobotic installations have been exhibited in many countries. As Project Leader of VRAAP (Virtual Reality Artist Access Program at the The McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology, University of Toronto) and curator of "Welcome To The Electric Skin" he is now involving other artists and the general public.
Due to the difficulty of establishing a video teleconferencing link to Canada a closed circuit version of this installation been set up at the CNA. The robot wanders in an installation built on the site by the Net@Works artists attending the lecture series in collaboration with local artists.
